First up: The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival is taking over the city next month, bringing us live comedy shows, big laughs, and late-night energy. Sometimes the best market news is when nothing dramatic happens. The Bank of Canada held the key interest rate at 2.25% as expected, and January looked like a typical start of year market with quieter sales, softer prices, and no real surprises.
